Ray Tracing

Hi,

Just been reading a little about this and the nVidia cards support this with the RTX line - Is a special monitor needed? - So the LG's of this world, both AMD Free Sync and G-Sync - Typical 120 Hz / 144 Hz displays - @ 1080 / 1440 - Will these work perfectly well with Ray Tracing cards? - Thanks

It will work but I don’t think RT is worth the performance trade off. I tend to disable it in BFV and in Metro. Wait for the next card to see how RT matures. At lease IMO.

I see no issues using those monitors. I have an Asus PG279Q and it works just fine. Do notice FPS drops with it on however.

Tracing type of graphics rendering and displays are entirely unrelated.
