Gpu upgrade

Currently in my build I have the EVGA GTX 1080 FTW HYDRO COPPER card. Was considering upgrading to the 2080 hydrocopper card. In my research I have found that for the games I play currently if would only be roughly a 15% upgrade. Would it be worth the $900 right now?

Also, in my list of possible upgrades is the AMD RX 5700 xt

Pro's and cons appreciated.

As a side note, my 1080 has been flawless over the last 3 years.

900$! I guess you want the best at that tier you have to pay to play. I bought my 5700XT for 430$, my 5700 for 330$, and my RX 570 for 125$. Had to feed 3 rigs.
