GPU suggestions for my siblings's rig.

I built this rig for my dad a few years ago just for regular use. Now my siblings are growing and they want to play Sims. I know the game is not very demanding at all but they have my old Korean 1440p and the current GPU cannot handle it at decent graphics.
With that said, what are some some good GPUs in the range of 200-250USD that this rig can handle(PSU is a the most limiting I think). I am looking for brand new, from Amazon US(we have giftcards) and mainly Nvidia, but will accept AMD suggestions as well. I built a Ryzen rig for a friend with a 5700XT and that thing is horrendous, crashing all the time due to the drivers issues.
Anyhow here is what I'm working with:

Motherboard: Asus A68HM-E
CPU: AMD Athlon X4 860K
RAM: 8GB Gskill DDR3 1866Mhz CL9
PSU: Corsair CX 430
GPU: Radeon HD 6450
246GB SSD for OS
3TB for everything else.

I was looking into the 1660 Ti cards but I read online it needs a 500watt PSU.
Thanks for chiming in.

do not buy a 1660 Ti with an X4 860K, lol.

the limiting factor isn't your PSU, it's the CPU. I wouldn't go any higher than a RX 460/560 or GTX 960/1050.

Intel i9 9900K Coffee Lake @ X8 5309mhz (+47.5%)
AMD FX-8320 Vishera @ X4 5022mhz (+43.5%)
Intel i5 4690K Haswell @ X4 5013mhz (+43.2%)
AMD X4 960T Zosma @ X6 4870mhz (+62.3%)
Intel i7 6700 Skylake @ X4 4709mhz (+38.5%)
Intel i5 6400 Skylake @ X4 4588mhz (+69.9%)

I'd actually consider a 3400G+MB+RAM instead. Will handle Sims at 1440p with ease and will be way faster overall. Then get a new power supply and graphics card down the line.

Unfortunately that is totally out of the budget. A GPU only will have to do for now.

The CX430 can only do 384 watts on the 12v rail and thats only at 30c so its actually more like a 325 watt PSU and not even a very good one at that

I will second the 3200G - Absolutely fantastic little processor for the price. For budget constrained builds without a dGPU the 3200G is the current go-to king.
