AMD Drivers are factually better than Nvidia.

I know right? Anyone with a lick of sense has been experiencing AMD making **** drivers with Catalyst back in the HD 4000 series to now. I love AMD hardware. And we generally agree that their software sucks.

However I found two articles which say the exact opposite. As such, these are only rumors and unconfirmed poppycock even if they are old

That statement should be more specific. There are use cases that favor one company over the other.

I really like new AMD software for 2020, couldn't go back to NVidia's CP. Wattman is great, I totally let go of AfterBurner (except for OSD via RivaTuner).

And I never really had any major driver issues some people were reporting with Navi.

As a fan of AMD and Nvidia Hardware...

Both of these articles are from 2018.

GCN has been around since 2011. GCN drivers as of 2018 and even now are exquisite, and AMD has had years and years to fix any and all driver issues.

Navi is a completely different architecture despite it being able to utilize GCN's ISA, as such it's logical to assume it will have more driver issues.

I've got to give it AMD's control panel for embarrassing Nvidias. Though I'm pretty sure we'll see a new Nvidia control panel soon.

Regardless of everything else, an article about drivers from two years ago is completely irrelevant to current drivers. Graphics drivers and the software packages that surround them change far too frequently for a two year old article to remain relevant.
