Metro Exodus bench?

Good day to all,

So anyone here playing this game and where can i find the benchmark tool that's usually with it. I cant find the folder location, if it is within the game file.

Aside from this, not surprised at all with the graphics, they look good but just enough to say "ok, this game was made within the last year or so". All the RTX mombo jumbo isn't really surprising me much. I mean Crysis 3 has similar if not better graphics and not im not making this a crysis against the world. I guess i had my expectations set too high. Its also pretty annoying you have to fiddle around with settings to get it to look good, the gamma, the RLSS or what ever its called, which at the moment sucks as it just makes things blurry but they claim it bumps FPS, well damn at the cost of making you feel like a myopic.

Anyways, just a rant guys no need to turn on the fire sprinklers. By all means if you have had good experiences, do please share what settings you've been using. I feel the game is washed out at points. When the dude takes off and puts on the mask there's a split second where(in that process) i think contrast/brightness/gamma looks great.

I don't mind the mention of Crysis 3. I still have it installed and its graphics are sharper in some places than in ME. Like when looking straight down on the ground in Crysis 3, all the detail in the wet rocks and pebbles. The overall visuals in ME seems better because of the RT lighting. Both on my 4k pc system btw.

In ME I only run it in Dx12 and RT at Ultra. I'll check the fps when I get around to it using Nvidia fps counter, or Fraps or whichever one is suggested that may be better than those two. Haven't found a benchmark program with the game yet.

I've been playing it lately and like you said, the ground, coming in or out or around rivers, its amazing, the underground tunnels look sick. ME isn't bad is just not my style of fps, the guy seems to struggle to run or get up and go, just doesn't move around fast enough for me, its sluggish. I also hate that washed out look im getting from it(most times). I've added a few games lately and none look like that, Apex legends, anthem, crysis 3... only ME.

I also run ME at 12x RT high or ultra, all other stuff added too minus DLSS which just blurs things out.

I get only 57fps average on Ultra @ 1440p and motion blur set to low. Is that normal? It's almost exactly what Guru3D reported for GTX 1080 Ti, but other sites, like TechPowerUp, reported much higher numbers...

Oh ok this is the game 'that whatever drama' was about.

I should try Metro-Dying Light, never tried that yet. How does it run in 2019 ?

That's Metro Last Light, Dying Light is another game

Here you go.

Edit :

There are two version of Metro 2033 and Last Light, the originals and the Redux versions, the originals seem gone from Steam at least.
