Skyrim with mods maybe looks good, untouched Skyrim/Skyrim SE looks okay at best.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider looks pretty sweet. Not a huge fan of the game play though.

Skyrim? Wut? Even with mods you can still see that clunky engine under it all lol. Skyrim wasn't even a great looking game for it's time.
The Vanishing of Ethan Carter
Deus Ex MD
Anthem (still totally broken)
BF:V
FFXV looks pretty good but not for the terrible perfomance and instability. Still a good game under it all.
Crysis 3, great game.
Hunt Showdown...still haven't bought it but looks great.

I agree but according to streaming videos because I cannot sustain the ultra settings and in the meantime be in one piece.....but a match in night environment in ultra settings on a high density IPS screen should be really an experience.....and the game itself is lovely and tough....for real men! lol

I haven't played any games that really stand out above the rest. SOTR and RE2 were both pretty, but so are most of the other games I have played recently. Even Division 2 looks pretty decent and it's an open world rpg. I haven't installed metro yet exodus yet but it should look quite nice from what I've seen, I may even turn on RTX so I can see how bad it is first hand.

Skyrim with a lot of mods can look ok, if you look at detail it can be quite nice (uncompromising textures can make a big difference).

For un-modded, vanilla, singleplayer games, I would say all 3 Crysis games are pretty lush, Bioshock Infinite was also very nice in it's own way(and bug-free at release!). I thought Dishonored was brilliant and ArmA 3 is very realistic, as well as very demanding. Also, any of the Metro games are awesome and the latest one, Metro Exodus is like in a class of it's own really and I think it's worth mentioning, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice was just unbelievably, incredible looking for a short, low-budget, indie game, which I tend to hate but not this time, tbh.

I played about 2 hours of Metro Exodus this weekend. It's not really to my liking from a gameplay aspect and I can't really say that I thought it looked all that good. I put on all the special effects but it just looks like an older game with mods and ReShade or something.

I keep meaning to get that Hellblade game, heard a lot of good stuff about it.

I think I've played all the good looking PC games that came out in the last 5 yrs except Exodus, the only two games that impressed me were Witcher 3 and Quantum Break.
Battlefield One and other Frostbite games such as Anthem/ Battlefront 2 look good but for some reason they don't have that "wow factor" that the 2 above have.

Senua's Sacrifice is also very photogenic and runs well!

GPU History - 6 Nvidia, 3 AMD <--- need to get this number up

I got it on a Steam Sale after seeing all these great accolades from everyone who reviewed it online and in print and I really enjoyed playing it! I just wished it was longer but I couldn't get over how vivid and real the graphics and aesthetics were and also the unique game mechanics. I thought it was an awesome little game for trying a lot of new things in storytelling, atmosphere and including the use of psychosis in the protagonist.
Trust me, this is not like any other game you've played before and that's kind of the point of it but unfortunately it doesn't seem as though Ninja Theory is looking to follow up on the success of a game that actually sold over a million copies and won a ton of awards. If you buy it on Steam, I know you get the VR version included with the regular version.
