Resident Evil 7 boringly disgusting?

The disgusting detail in Resident Evil 7 is enough to almost make me lose my lunch but the game itself is getting boring and I'm only to the second and final battle w/Marguerite. I hope the game doesn't become just an endless series of trapped w/a boss battles.

What do you find disgusting, the family's hunger for gut soup? I thought that was the most disgusting, it doesnt really get worse than that imo.

As for the boss battles, its hard to say anything without spoiling it.
