The Multiplayer i wouldnt say is anything like it either .The closest would be that they both have cover mechanics and weapons? Other than that, nothing alike.

Devil May Cry 5 and the Resident Evil 2 remake.

That "RE" Engine is phenomenal. I can run DMC5 pretty much completely maxed out, 60+ in 4K.

DMC5 most definitely has replay value, n I rarely replay things until years & years later.

R.I.P. Zawarudo, may you OC angels' wings in heaven.
If something appears too good to be true, it probably is.

Replaying with that railgun thing (Hellbreath?) from the start makes the game a bit of a walkover even on harder settings, that thing is stupidly powerful and has minimal downsides.

Replaying the entire thing with a Helsing crossbow is a bit more interesting.

I'll giv'em a go. Seems like i'll have my hands full till 2020. Now, if only Capcom could fix their business plan regarding Street Fighter...

there was also a hidden flamethrower from the DLC in the main campaign but I supose it require crafting the gas for it maybe it isnt as common to find in the maps SPOILER 4:51 and forward youtube.com/watch?v=K8g493HiIMA

Ion Fury

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ion_Fury

Might play this one. From the other maybe Metro if I get to play the previous titles first. Control for the RT but it's gonna be a slideshow it seems so far.

The rest I read mentioned here sounds more like boring console ports.

There are not many new games worth playing really, especially in FPS genre.

? Sound more like if you don't play at max difficult right away you consider replaying a game at higher difficulty as replayability? Really?

I just play at the hardest any game offers right away, if it does not then I unlock it via dev commands to offer it right away. The only exception being if max difficulty mode has no saves for the entire game or huge chunks of it, making it super tedious to play with overly limited saves, such as Doom difficulty with no/limited saves but then you may as well play that game with pistol only, that works too. 99% of modern games are easy even on hardest settings to please the "weekend players" and have more sales while alienating experienced players by making the games uninterestingly easy.

RE. 4 player coop. Not sure how it'll work, but looks interesting. Not sure if you're familar with 'Dead By Daylight', but it shares the same genre. Hopefully with better mechanics and maps. Capcom is a 'AAA' company and not some indie dev, so there are high expectations. MK had at least a full roster (12 fighters) when it dropped vs 8 for SFV. It is not 1991 anymore. You can't get away with it. The next iteration of SF is coming *soon, and i hope to God, they've learned from they mistakes.
