What happened to the OCN MC server?

I used to play on the OCN MC server. Made some friends there, and eventually made an OCN account years later.

This was an epic server. What happened to it? Why has it been scrubbed from OCN? The last mention of it I can find is from when it was still Kirby1's server. Where is this server now? What happened? Such a huge server must have landed somewhere.

Wow that is harking back a little bit. I cannot remember if it was an OCN owned server or member run. Either way it no longer exists to my knowledge. OCN no longer officially owns or runs any game servers.

Harking back? Maybe so, would just like to know what happened to the server. I know the main admin left and not much beyond that. It was a huge server, not sure why it need be shrouded in mystery. Those map files were over 20GBs. PPl deserve to know where their work ended up. Lots of CPUs made on that server.

And to clarify, it was a group of server run by OCN enthusiast who joined together as a community to band together for one massive server that OCN agreed to host for a time before some JDubbz tore it down, as I understand it.

I made friends on that server that I still game with.

I miss that server. I used to play there quite often around 2011-2012. I had attained Builder+ rank and I was so proud of it.

It was member run. I'm pretty sure by Mac32g (?). No idea why it got shut down.

It was run by a Kirby1, mac32g was one of the admins. It was several player run servers combined. Ocn banned the main admin because some kids on the server were trying to get him kicked so they could take over the server, and they eventually found enough trivial dirt to do it but I guess it didn't last long after that... Maybe someone ended up with the map files?
