Ordered Far Cry 5 and Ghost Recon Wildlands

I have old games I never even finished but I haven't played anything "new" in ages and they're on sale. Anyone played these games much ? I like FC and love open world games. What do people really think of these games at the end of 2019 ?

His post was during the christmas sale when it was around $15. There are cdkey seller websites you can buy it from online to get a steam key probably for that price if you want to gamble..

And yeah Far Cry 5 was a really good game. beat it a few times.. Ending is so 11/10

No worries.

Pretty stupid that they would jack the price back up to $60 after the sales ended (same on uplay store).. The game came out in Q1 2018 IIRC. Was totally worth the $60 at the time but yeh.. check around for a cheap steam key

Yeah both were, actually I got about 8-9 games for $120USD, about time for my powerful new 1yo rig, and I think they were all 20-66% off.

FC5 is cool so far, I barely played 4, so I'd call it more a mix of FC2+3. However explosions lloks prety bad for some reason I have a rtx2070 and maxxed the graphics for 1440p. The FPS is fine enough, but the explosions/smoke clouds look like 144p basically, surely that's not right. The rest of the game looks great, although I wish some draw distance could be adjusted so there's less pop-in's . I never loked it up yet, I'm guessing it's volumetric smoke or maybe the TAA.

Never tried GR:WL yet, or HM2, or EverSpace. I've working on finishing Wastlands 2-DC and WolfensteinTNO 1st.

yesterday I tried out Ghost Recon wildlands and its EPIC!! Breakpoint will be my next go! I joined uplay+ for 14$ a month so I can grab all the games now! I loved all the FC games and the best thing IMO about FC series are the outpost sniping, and ghost recon is like nothing but sniping and outposts... EPIC WIN!! Just have to get used to playing in 3rd person view now. Ubisoft games can be somewhat poorly optimized but very fun addictive games
