Division 2

Basic download edition on sale right now for $2.99 through Uplay. You can get other versions for a bit more, but for somebody who wants to give it a try you can't beat the price.

D2 is more of the same. If you didnt like the first, more likely than not, you wont like the sequel either. Great deal though.

I enjoyed the first one until all of the changes made kind of killed the enjoyment factor.

Same here, posted in this section about looking for a new game to fill in a little here and there for the 2020 releases. But ya, definitely didn't want to drop any major coin. So when this popped up had to jump on it. Even if I don't like it, only out a couple bucks compared to the alternative. That's why I held out on anthem. Looks great, but after reading about the bugs, hard to manage controls and bad story line, figured it would be worth pretty much as filler just to go in and vent with the repetitive missions everyone kept posting about.

Never played the first one. Don't really have time for multi-player games at the moment. Too hard to coordinate time to play. What's the single player like? I heard it can be a nightmare and almost impossible to pass some things alone.

I've been playing the division 2 on and off since launch. I find the game in general to be significantly easier than the first is most aspects. I often run missions solo on challenging difficulty with a rifle build that's more or less a glass cannon. (difficulties: story, normal, hard, challenging, heroic and soon legendary)
They've made gearing up a lot easier since they added targeted loot drops and there is "loot 2.0" coming soon (March 3rd) where they are overhauling the entire gear system.

Getting from level 1-30 and reaching world tier 5 takes a little while but getting geared up decently from there is pretty quick once you figure out what build you want.

I got the game downloaded it and installed it but game crashes at 10% on the load up screen. looks like a lot of people have this issue with the game.

Edit: I think I might have found my particular problem with the game crashing on me at load up.
