Windows 10 install time and so far/WORST EVER WINDOWS INSTALL

It took FOREVER to install win10 spyware, 10x longer than win7/8

I had a bunch of problems with a brand new i5-9600k, z370 mobo,, the 16GB 3000MHz ram work at aleast works

But this is way slower installing win10

ITS PATHETICALLY SLOW and it's 100% SPYWARE step by step

Hmm, Takes less then 5mins to install on my PC not counting the time to make the usb stick.
USB stick takes about 15mins to make since they cap the download rate.

Well this installed like swimming in a fast river, and the mouse is has been choppy ,the whole thing is messed up compared to win7/8

Right now it seems like it's trying to install the same "thing" again, and it's at 6%, 4 minutes later

What ever it's doing, it seems so laggay and slow, it seems broke compared to win7/8 install.

And I had an i7-2700k, and this is an i5-9600k, and its the worst, slowest install EVER, and I don't get why ????????????????????

I assume it's downloading stuff right now, ok, but still, this feels like a broken product install, and it shouldn't, I grow up with a C64, if nothing is wrong with this system/install....I pitty the PC user in my place, right now.

You must be doing something wrong.

Here is what I did not long ago.

Download the Win10 usb maker.
Takes 10 secs from microsoft website.

Run that.
Select the USB drive you want to make into a install media.
Takes about 15mins since they cap the download rate to 3-8mbit (im on 1000/1000mbit fiber)

Reboot with usb stick in.
Select Hdd to install windows to (gives option to upgrade and keep files or start fresh) (I always start fresh)
Takes like 1-2mins to copy files to HDD (Im using a NVME 960 pro)
Then takes another 2-3 mins and you just keep hitting next button)
Restarts twice then your at make local account or login.
Login and everything is done.

Then download program to disable all the bloat ware, cant remember what its called and your good to go.

Most certainly a rogue setting or issue related to your system as Windows 10 install very quickly and performs just fine. Works even better if you slipstream it as well. Are you Overclocked ? Different versions of windows can behave differently with overclocks. Windows 7 may be fine with an overclock while windows 10 is not.

Definitely something up with your installation. I installed yesterday using the media creation tool and took about 10 mins with a 250GB NVMe drive.

I have an image of the HDD (spare) on a Win10 Home machine and used it on a new build. Plugged in a Win 10 Pro key and it automatically opened up more features. Running good so far. Just did hours ago.

Hi,
I would disconnect from the internet before install
Keeps 10 from phoning the home planet.....
Also goes straight to local user account instead of messing around with the MS user account/ connecting to slow MS servers...

10-15 minutes tops
