I think I've been convinced to switch, that mobo seems like a solid recommendation. Started a new thread in the AMD forum: https://www.overclock.net/forum/13-a...l#post27823152

Get the EVGA Supernova 650 G3 it's made by Super Flower can't beat it for the price. Don't buy a Seasonic Focus they have compatibility issues with GPUs. Save $10 and you won't regret it by buying a Super Flower EVGA PSU.

Just take brands like EVGA most of what they sell is junk but hey its EVGA a big well known brand so everything they sell has to be good

People go by the brand or the 80 plus rating not knowing the brand dont make the units in most cases and that an 80 plus rating has jack to do with quality
Take the lower wattage models of the Silverstone Strider Titanium series those have crap ripple suppression but hey 80 plus Titanium so it has go be good well its not they suck
Where have you heard this non-sense about EVGA PSUs are junk? Most of their high end PSUs are made by Super Flower.

OK so OP what is the current status of your build? I got tired of all the PSU cancer talk and other than a ITX/MATX I would never tell someone to buy under a 700w unit.

i'd like to point out the fans that comes with the case and heatsinks.
if you're really into quietness then swapping the stock fans to better ones would make a big deal.

Wut?
Nothing wrong with using one it but it's not in anyway needed. Stability? Somehow a rig that can only draw 400ish watts with the GPU and CPU running a stress test when OC'd is going to be more stable if you have more wattage available? No, you'll have better stability and reliability with a low ripple/tightly regulated unit but adding moar wattz isn't going to do anything.
even if we go by ATX specs, two 8pin PCI-E would only allow up to 375W for GPU, add a ~200W CPU+Parts and thats barely ~600W load.
nowhere near would that RTX2060 pull that much, heck even if we look at RTX2080 it still wouldn't.

trolling an adult is very dangerous, don't try it at home nor at work. you don't want to play tag with a rabid man.

Ok so i just ran my 9600k setup and here is what my setup ( [email protected] with a modded gtx [email protected]/4000 pulls from the wall on my pcp&c 1050w gold unit. 720w on the tower from the wall running 3dmark FS ultra. So I would get a good 700w or larger unit if it was me.

System Specs.

Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Master

[email protected] with Mugen 4000 with push pull Tgrizz paste

2x8gb Team Dark pro 3200c14 Bdie @3600C16

Gtx [email protected] 1206/4000

Pcp&c 1050 Gold

3 140mm Spectre fans

5 120mm Slip stream fans

2 1tb Hd

1 128GB NVME SSD

What in the world are you talking about? its clear you completely misunderstood what i said

First off the G3 has noise problems which is why i said not to buy it
https://www.overclock.net/forum/31-p...e-problem.html

Second i said most of the EVGA models are junk the key word where MOST (all the group regulated models) not all of them and i never said that about the G2 or the G3

And last the GPU issues is with 3 models the GTX 970 (the Asus Strix from what i recall) and the Vega 56/Vega 64 thats it
The OP does not have a GTX 970 a Vega 56 or a Vega 64 from what i understood so there is no problem with a Focus

The Focus is often cheaper than the G3 in most places and its more quiet so its a better option in those cases

Edit: and by the way not all Super Flower models are made by Super Flower as their factory is overworked so they outsource to companies like RSY
So the G3 you get might not even have been made by Super Flower it might have been made by RSY or one of the other outsource companies

All the problems with the non working OPP of the EVGA B3 series was caused by RSY
