Running a stability test out side of the operating system is pointless ie: memory. As far as memory I would look at G.Skill Trident Z it will be easier to get stable. I would also recommend staying away form the RGB stuff it does not overclock as well. I would recommend a mild OC on the CPU it will perform better than auto. If you need help overclocking your system we can help. Good luck!
That why I came here, I need to overclock the RAM and CPU, im using this system for High-End gaming + Video editing and rendering

Hi,
Can you post an image of the build ?

Basic cpu oc is 4.5 at 1.2v you might be able to use 1.18v using adaptive core voltage

99..x series chips seem to have pretty tight vid reading so no need to per core adjustments so one can use All core oc'ing and only set core voltage to apply to all of them at once

Here's Jp's 4.6 bios screen shots he shared this was on a 7980xe I doubt you have to use the cache voltages omega and 99..x in general has way better cache than 79..x series voltage wise just set to max cache 30 and auto voltage.

Attached are my 4.4 All Cores OC and 4.6 Per Core OC. The memory OC is for G.Skill TridentZ 3600 CL16 32 GB. These files are for a 7980Xe on a ASUS Rampage VI Apex. Should be a good starting point. Cooling will be a factor I am on water with a very good rad. I use the per core for CAD, Gaming and pretty much everything.

Hi,
As i said per core oc'ing isn't necessary on 99..x series vid's and core temps are super tight together thanks to solder

Hi,
Cooling is still needed
Just per core adjustment to tame bad cores is not really needed unless someone wants to max some of the best cores in my case
4.8 all core
I could push probably half of them to 4.9 and still be close to the same core temps.

So I guess the solder tightened the cores a lot better than LM ever can/could.

Hi,
Here's a 4.6 all core little toasty but there is some room for 4.9 on at least 6 out of 14

To the OP - have you been able to get XMP to work on this board yet?

I'm working on a Rampage VI Extreme Omega as well and there's a few weird things going on. Never had this problem before on any other asus board, asrock, gigabyte, etc. It's like it just refuses to do anything with memory.

1. Pretty sure there's somethign wrong with CPU OC. I'm testing AVX2 with an H150i pro on 9980XE. I know it shouldn't do That well but anything over 3.8GHz is impossible. This is without memory OC.

2. Has to be something wrong with memory OC. I've tried tweaking memory voltage, system agent, vccio, vtt, and lowering ram frequency from 3200 down to 2666 (with xmp on), and loosening timings. Nothing works, cores crash instantly on p95. With memory at auto and my CPU "oc" its fine, can pass overnight - but once anything with memory is set up it can't do it.

Tried CPU swap, tried memory kit swap.

This is with a 128GB kit 3200c14.

oh and edit - on latest 0602 BIOS

This is whats happening to me, I 100% sure there is bios issue in the board, overclock CPU without touching RAM works fine, but when I start OC the RAM weird things happening, crash blue screen even black screen, currently I OC the CPU to 4.2 no issues and stable, once I just OC ram its unstable, currently bought new RAM to further test, its compatible with x299
