Need an advice mobo/ram with i5-9600k

Hey Guys.
I am doing a new gaming build and have decided I am going for Intel i5-9600k.
Had the Asus Prime z390-A is sight for its easy automatic overclocking, xmp memory profile and easy to use BIOS and the Gskill Ripjaws V (F4-3200C15D-16GVK) or Gskill TridentZ (F4-3200C16D-16GTZKW)

My rigs normally last me for about 5-6 years with one GPU uprade.
I just need some advice on this, is this a good mobo ?

for a 9600K basically any motherboard is going to be fine. but if you think you might grab a 9700/9900K later, then no, it's not very good. the VRM is kinda poo.

look into the Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro or Aorus Elite for less money. both are cheaper than the Z390-A.

Intel i9 9900K Coffee Lake @ X8 5309mhz (+47.5%)
AMD FX-8320 Vishera @ X4 5022mhz (+43.5%)
Intel i5 4690K Haswell @ X4 5013mhz (+43.2%)
AMD X4 960T Zosma @ X6 4870mhz (+62.3%)
Intel i7 6700 Skylake @ X4 4709mhz (+38.5%)
Intel i5 6400 Skylake @ X4 4588mhz (+69.9%)
2 OP pls nerf

Or wait a couple weeks and see how Ryzen will do in real world tests for yourself instead of upgrading to a dead expensive platform full of issues.

The z390 prime is a good board or you can also go with the Asus z390-f or e. I personally use the z390-f on many overclocked 9900k builds and it does great. Of the two RAM kits you mentioned, they are both 3200mhz so I would go with the Ripjaw since it has a CL15 timing. 3200mhz is super easy to run on intel CPU.

We've used MSI Z390 Gaming Edge on a budget, or ASUS Maximus XI Hero, Maximus XI Code.
