Build help 1200$

Posted similar in AMD General, still making up my mind..

Hi all... it's been a hot second since I've built a PC (2008), mostly due to the fact that I've been traveling a lot so I've had a couple of gaming laptops (don't shoot me!)

But this year it's time, I'm saving up and will be pulling the trigger come mid September on a new PC, I'm very rusty and need help, Budget is 1500 but I'm saving around 300 of that for a 144hz 27' QHD Screen (crossing my fingers to get one for that price), main purpose is gaming.

I'm at your mercy thanks in advance.

The Cooler Master 690 Club!

I haven't done a build in eons. In fact this is my first time in the build section in years so dont expect a perfect build, but this should get you rollin.

Thought the first suggestion would be a ryzen 3000 build.
3700X + X570 build could almost fit into that price range.

Could drop that nvme drive and replace with a 1TB ahci sata ssd for round the same price. Probably won't notice a huge difference with the nvme drive, but double capacity probably be nice..

With your 1200$ budget, I would go for go for a ryzen 5 3600 & gigabyte X570 gaming X, 2x 8gb 3200Mhz, RTX 2060, AOC Q3279VWFD8 31.5 inch QHD 75hz monitor & 80+ gold 650W Psu & casing of your choice,this cost slightly less than 1500$

Dont buy a Samsaung NVME SSD they are overpriced and there are many drives almost as fast and way cheaper, but if all you do is gaming just drop an NVME SSD its not faster or better for gaming
https://www.overclock.net/forum/355-...2-toshiba.html

As for the EVGA G3 either turn off the eco mode or live with the noise or pick another PSU
https://www.overclock.net/forum/31-p...e-problem.html

And last dont buy a Cooler Master 212 its outdated overhyped overrated and overpriced and there are many coolers newer better cheaper and more quiet

The EVGA BQ is cheap because its not very good or in other words its its pretty mediocre
This one is much better and dont cost a ton more https://www.newegg.com/antec-neoeco-...82E16817371121

Edit: by the way the Intel 660P is that cheap because it becomes slower than a HDD when you move and/or copy large amounts of files so a HDD is actually faster and better in such a use case
