4K TV for PS4 pro

ok, so at the end of this year I will be getting a PS4 pro I already have a internal 2T drive and a external 8T drive for this build. my next purchase will be a 4K TV I have been looking at curved TV's from 43" to 55" like this one.

https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-UN55R...ZXH3R7RQMQ3X2D

I would like to keep the price range from $250 to $800 for this TV and I would like it to be between 43" and 55" other than that, I am open to any suggestions.

I can't really suggest a specific model but I would pay close attention to how the TV does with 1080p content (most of what you will get out of the PS4 Pro). It seems like some are much better at displaying lower than native resolution content than others.

You might want to look into PS4 Pro and 4k Samsung (insert LG etc) black screens. There seems to be issues with some panels and PS4 Pro.

True if he's only using it for BluRay movies. I bet he'll be playing some AAA games though.

I'd ultimately suggest waiting for a PS5 at the point he's planning to get the PS4...

I haven't plugged my ps4 pro for a long time but when they came out they didn't do anything at 4k except movies/tv. The PS4 pro isn't even very good at 1080p for AAA games.

well I will look into getting a good TV/monitor that will be good at rendering resolutions from 1080p to 2160p. no I will not be getting a PS5. I got my PS3 on the same day the PS4 was released, I plan to do the same this time. I am cheap to a point, I do not mind building a good PS4 system, but I am not going to pay $60 a game, for a console experience on a PS5. I have a good PC for high end gaming.

I am just looking to build a nice PS4 gaming station, like my PS3 gaming system is now. I will not be using this system for movies, it will be for gaming only.

does it work well with your PS4? also how does it work at the different resolutions games allow for? (like from 780p, 1080p, 1440p, and 2160p)

4k and 1080p look fine. I haven't ran below 1080p.
