I think the first was a baseball game on the colecovision. Then it was Bards Tale and the gold box AD&D games. Probably bought just about everything that came out from EA, SSI, and Sierra in their earlier years.

For me, it was Quake back in 1997 or so. Friend of mine copied his disks over to a ZIP drive for me, but my Apple wouldn't play them because it was a PC game. I got my first PC for Christmas that year, and I was able to play it at 320x240 with all of its software rendering goodness.

This also happened to be the start of my pursuit of performance, overclocking, and extra parts for computers that really aren't "necessary" but necessary lol. I still don't play games to play them, but to max them out.

After playing the Portal duo I was hooked, but the most current games I am playing would be "Conarium" and "Layers of Fear". Just purchased the New game "Control" That should do it...
