Managed to achieve a 74Hz overclock. It seems as if anything over a Pixel Clock of 165MHz fails (74Hz is 164MHz pixel clock)
I know this is an old post but did you try the 80hz with a display port cable? I used your settings with a display port cable and they worked fine.

According to what was written in this topic i write here what i've done:
it's connected with the DP cable
Custom Color - RGB 93 96 99
Br 34 contrast 75
Then I've installed the ICC profil from TFT central
It's not so bad but colors now seems a bit too off, pale yellow and weak reds
What should i do please?
Did you give these a try, colors are nice and you just need to dial in the brightness to suit your preferences.

Thanks to everyone for contributing information towards this great monitor, I’m so glad I bought it now!
A few questions about overclocking, I had no problem getting 72hz using dvi and the Nvidia Control Panel custom setting (attached pic of settings I found online). Do I need to buy a DisplayPort cable to get 78 or 80hz and is there settings floating around that I can enter into the Nvidia Control Panel custom settings.

Keeping my fingers crossed, but I made sure the seller was close, just in case.

|Zomby Woof||Well the wait is over, picked up a used one off a reputable seller on ebay for $145. Get it Wednesday, completes my setup that I'm going to stick with for a couple years now.|

|Zomby Woof||With the better out of the box color from the U2414H, can the P2414H be matched either with the TFT central icc profile or custom settings? I'm really leaning towards getting this today.|

|Zomby Woof||I'm in Canada and the best price I can find is $170 used, so I don't know if this is a good price for used.|

|melodystyle2003||I had both, p2414h as expected is much better and can be also oc'ed to 75-80Hz. I think you wont regret it, if you buy it at the right price (by right price i mean quite lower than any 24" 120-144Hz monitor since you use it for games - i know non-TN panels are quite expensive).|
