BassTurd It will work with a few modifications. You need some copper shims and longer screws. The thumbscrews will not work with the cooler and bracket. I have this on my 1080sc and kept back- and midplate. That is why you need longer screws.

8051 The waterblock/pump on the EVGA CLC doesn't look anything like the ones that are compatible w/the NZXT Kraken G12

Kraken g12 on gtx1080?

So Evga had bundle deal on a 1080 with a cpu cooler.

So I have this card

EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 SC GAMING, 08G-P4-6183-KR, 8GB GDDR5X, ACX 3.0 & LED

Came with this cpu cooler.

EVGA CLC 240 Liquid / Water CPU Cooler, RGB LED Cooling 400-HY-CL24-V1

Would using the NZXT Kraken G12 and that cooler cause any issues. I have room in my case 800D.

Would I need anything extra?

I know its not listed as compatible but not sure why it wouldn't be. When look at the list of other aio coolers.
