Textures are sharper basically. This can be best observed in BF4 IMO. For BFV I couldn't say that 120% makes THAT much of a difference. For 150% and higher you begin to notice clear differences.

For some reason I cannot unlock it to go further than 75FPS. Don't know why. Checked all in game settings, no limiter, anything else runs at 99% GPU usage with as many FPS as the card can spit, BFV doesn't.
For the unlearned, what do you gain going past 100% resolution scale?

I prefer modern combat but I will say I enjoy this one a ton ave about 15 hours in. It definitely scratches the battlefield itch and most importantly to me running around with a full squad is fun even when your losing. Not to mention I'm having tons of those only in battlefield moments.

My guess is that it's an engine level problem. Until they build a new version of frostbite built for DX12, it may not be playable.

I'm curious if an 8700k or 9900k would eliminate stuttering... I wonder if they optimized it only for the newest CPUs. I doubt it, but I wonder...

Man, I gave Dice years. This almost seems like an Nvidia problem because Mantle worked. How can they not get DX12 right after 3 years of DX12 being out.

Been using afterburner/rivatuner for years with the custom stats to the top left and cap my FPS with the framerate limit of Riva but for some reason in BFV it doesn't disable. Everything else can go beyond 75FPS if I select "0" for framerate limit. Even if I quit Riva, it still doesn't go beyond 75.

Ironic that the bad DX12 implementation in the Frostbite engine is going to negate the use of RTX features. Another reason not to buy this game.

b.walker36 How the heck do you figure out what FOV to use? The default is way to close but everything else looks weird. Google has failed me.

That's what I figured, since it was my experience in the beta. Their DX12 implementation is flat out unplayable. So RTX in this game is never going to be a thing.
