NEWBIE OC for i7 6850k on MSI x99a gaming 7

Hi everyone, i'm not sure it's the right section to post this, I apoligize in advance if i made a mistake.

My sistem is composed by:

MOBO: MSI x99A gaming 7
CPU: i7 6850K (cooled with a noctua nh-d14)
RAM: G Skill Intl F4-3000C15-4GRR x4 16GB total
SSD: 1TB nvme SSD 970 plus
PSU: corsair HX1000i
GPU: NVIDIA AORUS 2080 TI

Since the cpu is starting to be old i wanted to find a stable OC configuration. Moreover the RAM frequency is 2800 MhZ and not 3000 MhZ and i don't understand why. I don't have any kind of experience in OC so i suppose i'll make a lot of dumb questions. I searched for a guide with my MOBO and CPU but i didn't find it, if a guide is present I will surely follow it instead of bothering you.

My idea was to overclock CPU RAM and GPU but maybe it's a dumb idea. I'll wait for your ideas

Thank you again.
