franz Most of those options have either disappeared or ended up as an option within FahClient, so you no longer have to set the flags manually.

The ones I still use are;
client-type
pause-on-start
next-unit-percentage

TooUnskilled Is the information here still relevant?
Asking since it's been almost a decade and information about advanced settings seems to be kind of obscure.

res1233 Here's another option that I pulled out of the binary. It works, but it's a bit too advanced for most of us to use. The description is from the binary, so forgive me if it doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Error Handling
The maximum number of errors before a work unit is dumped.
The maximum number of errors before a slot is paused.

It's possible that the first definition is for something that isn't implemented yet, so it doesn't have a key listed in the binary yet. Don't know. The second definition looks correct though.

EDIT: Oh, that explains it. The other definition is out of place in the binary for some reason. Here's the other key

Sporadic E There is no real reason to run the client with any flags at this time. The units found on the -advanced flag usally are harder on the cpu and take longer to complete but they eventually make it to the full [email protected] release.
