mandrix Hee hee, no snakes lately under the hood, just a bad water pump that I had to replace. Other than that I've been pretty sorry...no money to work on the build so I just been vegging and catching up on some reading.

socketus thats funny ! under 14" of snow melting down into hard glaze with last few dayze of near 50d weather. Yah, there's a robin somewhere tongue.gif just not here mad.gif

yah. Finally got ahold of a 23" lazy susan that will fit a work table, once I move the pc from it, so I can put the black Genesis 9000 onto it for easy access.
The ST10 is on a table behind that desk in the living room, and that table is jammed full of 3 Asus LB monitors, with a 2nd table jammed full of parts I've been buying for the last 1.5 years, with more stuff underneath. Seriously space challenged.

Not to mention, I'm FINE [fu**ed up, insecure, neurotic & emotional] with the current setup on the white Genesis 9000 housing the aircooled gear that was going to be the gear in the ST10. I have turned into a major hibernator this winter, esp since I started watching college hoops - finally broke the mason jar and got the HD set top box for cable, but all I watch are the ESPN & Fox Sports and Big10 basketball channels. And do I watch the replays online !!! and on cable. Using my 24" ips HP monitor, and switch it back n forth between the hdmi and dvi inputs. I tried a 2nd monitor, but its hdmi input didn't work ....

So - still absorbing people's builds and comments - esp all Case Labs stuff - luv that S8 - I knew they were going to do it after all the begging and wondering after the s3 n s5 releases.

I'm curious as hell about Gemini. But I've managed to rein in my needlessly consumerist spending ... and I am determined to get a w/c build in the black Genesis and finally ..... the ST10.

So, opened up your car hood to any snakes lately ;-)

have you ever pulled a groin muscle ? or whatever they call that rope like thing that tears and sends you into worlds of pain you never knew existed. Man ! never knew how much you depend on that muscle to do what you need to do.

yah. so this build .. already on an extended break, now goes into a holiday break while I heal. I ran into that annoying Alphacool plug interefering with the rad mount thing - my answer was to stack a couple of XSPC gaskets ... gonna keep the copper plugs, but have yet to attach any fittings. So I didn't have enough gaskets, and I ordered a few more up, and a couple of those taller BP anti-cyclone fittings. Other than that, its quiet n cold and its not blowing snow on the not so high East KS river valley biggrin.gif
Yep. Also had hernia surgery in 2012. Great fun!

Anti cyclone fittings.....you mean like for a reservoir?
