Is it a double precision work load?

I'm set to 0.5 CPUs per task and the 4 GHz i5 quad core is at 40-45% usage with a GTX 970 hogging the other core.

Just seemed odd that a lower x4 WU load produced so much more heat above a higher x6 WU load.

Currently ambients are up 10 degrees C since I installed the card.

1.062 V GPU core, 1757 MHz core clock, 192W @ 95 degrees Hot Spot, 1150MHz memory and Power @ +20% and 100% fan speed.

P.S. Still can't find another in Europe that I can afford ! LoL ! Not paying £1000 for a new one....
keep at it bro... pick me up for a couple of days.

They've earned a break.

I still have a pair of 290s crunching on MilkyWay. They have been crunching nicely, even with power-limiting them to 130W.
