skupples oh, that's cool. The game play looks pretty good now.

i still think they chose the wrong vector.

They should've stuck with the initial scope, and grown from there.

It's not modules anymore, the universe is fairly playable. Still have a lot of time left before everything is in game though.

As one who never joined on backing the game, and must admit I will buy it day one when it is released. I loved space sims and this is a dream come true for a fan of Freelancer, FreeSpace and a few other games I enjoyed immensely over the years.

I put together a video of gameplay from all the mods, Star Marine, Arena Commander and Universe if you are interested.

we all wanted this game to happen, but unfortunately it has technical debt size of mount everest. the game could actually be done but they would have to realize what their limitations are and align accordingly. but Chris Roberts is not able of self reflection
you are better of going to play elite dangerous. it does it all to scratch the space game itch and you can get in often in sales for very few bucks

skupples hey look, three modules!

it'll be good fun, eventually. The naysayers will be puckering hard soon enough. Years of chanting vaporware. Complaining about constant reiteration so much so that CIG had to essentially go back on the promise of open development due to the utter PR shartshow it causes, due to the general mass of humanity not understanding the process. A process that was ensured to be insane the moment CR said go. He's an insane tier perfectionist... even if his version of perfect is different from yours.

SQ42 is gonna be the tits, & hopefully I can find some cool cats to cruise the verse with. I still have my mirror polished gimbal, button overhauled warthog in waiting.

Shawnb99 That market was so insane. They had no idea what mess they were creating and then did everything they could to hide it then distance themselves from it all the while they kept the numbers "limited' thereby driving up the market.
Never selling the Scythe again yet allowing me and many others to buy them on the sly. The bigger the fish the more we could milk the system. I only ended up selling after they banned me so I only got myself a small slice but even then it was so very very profitable. I'm sure there were some that made hundreds of thousands.

skupples for real, CIG was really onto something.
