Yeah I do this and love it. I get the satin style like these

they've actually allowed me to use rough textured pads that I don't like on the wrist but I'm so use to them now that I can't play without even on my QCK. THe glide is so much better. It make a huge difference to the speed and ease in which I can throw the mouse around its allowed me to use a sensitivity lower then I'd previously settled on. thumb.gif

*expects to see SteelSeries "gaming sleeve" in a couple of months LOL tongue.gif*

No worries. My point really was that this guy MUST have the acceleration kick in or he can't even do a 180. I can see why he needs a sleeve because he needs to move him mouse so fast so often. I prefer no sleeve because I like to use my wrist as a pivot when fingertiping for more precise aim. This guy gets precision through his very low base sensitivity. I find it amazing that his sensitivity changes by a factor of 8x between base speed and max acceleration speed, I don't think my brain could handle that (I imagine it would feel like switching quickly between 500 DPI and 4000 DPI in game on the fly).

And yes, 366/360 witho accel deaktivated would definitely be hard to use.

Definitely, I need a bigger a desk, I can´t try any real low sens setting with my current space :/

The acceleration gets it to a reasonable 44 cm/360 when he is moving the mouse really fast, but he really must need to throw his arm around because the base sensitivity before the acceleration curve kicks in is just unusable IMHO.

test user I tried coming up with some kinda sleeve thingie but it only increased the drag between my wrist and the pad. I don't think any kind of cloth would work that well, you'd have to use something else. I don't sweat much, though, so that probably changes things.

My-Neighbour This won't be good for everyone but I saw Mew doing it on Youtube and thought I'd try it out for the lols but I love it!

Basically he's made him self a silky sleeve to keep friction low between his arm and the pad. sometimes on hot days I get a moist wrist which clings to the pad a little and this works really well for me. It does make your sensitivity feel faster and I'm sure some will hate the concept but I thought I'd put it out there.

I basically tried it out with arm warmers for mountain biking (thin silky material) which I have loads of. Works amazing for me. Only the bottom of my wrist comes in contact with the pad so I may mod it just to be a small wrist band or something.
