That's pretty high price you could get GTX980 K|NGP|N for such money but if you collecting GPU that's different story.
I still have GTX780Ti K|NGP|N and max I could get is 150-160 euro for used GPU. I'm not sure I will sell her at all. It's good to have great backup card. Maybe he is not usefull now, but could be usefull for 2 years If I want to sell GTX1080Ti and to buy successor of RTX2080Ti. It's much easier when you could sell hardware and add more money than to collect all money and than to compensate with selling older hardware. One thing is sure, that was far best GTX780Ti on market, his score was so much better than GTX780Ti and GTX980 reference and using such card is pure satisfaction. You should know that his score is 1000 points higher than GT1060 in 3DMark Graphic score. I was ready to delay upgrade 1 year at least but I couldn't find waterblock for her for some reasonable price. I mean waterblock for her used worth maybe 30-40$ and that was not problem but I would need to pay shipping same price and that become close to waterblocks for newer GPUs. But with GTX 780 Classy waterblock I would still use my K|NGP|N not until RTX2080Ti become weaker, until NVIDIA launch successor of RTX2000 Series. For me that's still usefull card for 1080p. In moment when I saw that 780Ti K|NGP|N maybe beat and GTX1060 and give far better score I thought Is it 4.5 years to early, maybe I should wait more. |

nyk20z3 | I've started collecting high end GPU's this past year and just picked up a 780 Ti Kingpin still sealed in the box for $400, do you guys think it was a good deal?. I mean for being still factory sealed i thought it made sense.... |

How much would owners of GTX780Ti Classified, GTX780 Classified, GTX780Ti K|NGP|N Classified asked for EK Waterblock for 780 Classy. I mean on people who have newer cards and not use that waterblock but he is in good condition with all screws. I mean on Europeans. For me is not problem price of waterblock to pay used, but shipping plus waterblock is something else and because of that ask. |

wow nice looking card.. definitely a throwback (sorry that probably doesnt translate well to your native language). But it is cool to see this card again after all these years. I remember when they first launched this card.. im pretty sure this was the first kingpin edition because I owned the 680 classified cards and I remember thinking of selling those to get this card. Neat stuff, thanks for the post, and the trip down memory lane
Winter 2014. I jumped like crazy to GTX780 Classified and when I saw GTX780Ti I was little angry, full chip, EVGA launced GTX780Ti Classified, and when I saw trailer for K|NGP|N model that was end. I sold GTX780 Classified and bought GTX780Ti KP... that 780 Classified still work and guy who bought from me never paid so much some GPU and he will use her long long time because it's not hard core gamer. But when I start to play games I recognized that difference between 780 and 780Ti is exactly what I need. Difference was visible and perfectly fit in that moment for details and fps in available games for 1080p. Only confirm that I made good decision to switch to 780Ti, I still play games on her only not new games because I want best experience when I upgrade GPU. It's bad because no way to find GTX1080Ti K|NGP|N Hydro Copper cheap as other GTX1080Ti models... and RTX2080Ti is to expensive for me. |

alancsalt | I still have a trio of consecutively numbered cards, bought when they came out. Great power draw, especially overclocking. |

I just decide to clean my 780Ti K|NGP|N.
This card is still very usefull on 1080p resolution and among people who play specific games where no need stronger GPU. This is what I saw in GPU from January 2014... chip was from end of 2013.
Spoiler!
I didn't changed thermap pads because they looked OK and I thought it's pointless for so old GPU. One little screw on end below label stopped me to completely deassemble ACX Cooler and cause me a lot of pain to put brush inside. At the end I found some small antistatic brush for cleaning some 30-40 years old electronic shaving device who is garbage more than 2 decade. She helped me a lot. I think it's pointless to waste money for GPU Waterblock for so old GPU, but now I would like to have him here near me. Special because for one GPU block for her I could buy CPU block for Z390. |
