It doesn't, it's brass/copper.

why wouldn't it?

the only thing different with exposed copper, in comparison to nickel, or AU, is copper produces copper sulphate, which in large enough quantities can kill bio.

Poppapete Just building my 2nd Custom Cooling Build. Used all barrow fittings (but no other barrow components) 2 years ago. All working perfectly. So this time I have gone all Barrow (Barrowch) including "Mobula" as the "case" (look it up if you don't know what it is). I have the pump illustrated in previous post. P/N:FBSP17B which includes a wire to allow MB shutdown if pump stops. It is to be connected to the MB pins used for front panel connection. The Chinese translated instructions are cr** and I would love some smart electrician to explain where I place the 2 pin connector which shuts the MB down if the pump stops. (It is not required to run the pump, just an extra). I did not buy the Barrow fans as I wanted the new Cooler Master MasterFan SF240P. Most ARGB have 3 pins on a 4 pin plug with blank. Barrow have a 3 pin plug. It took me 3 weeks to find Barrow supply a $3.00 cable that converts the 3 pin (4 slot) to a straight 3 pin so the you can then use any ARGB on either Barrow controllers or some but not all of the other controllers. Have not started the build yet as some components just starting to arrive here in Australia. Using the BOXFISH reservoir.

MB is Gigabyte X570 Xtreme which came today but CPU 3900X is impossible to get here at present.

This is my first Gigabyte build ( last 6 were ASUS). Also first AMD build.

Love to hear of anyone using any of the Barrowch stuff.

Thinking about what to use regarding tubes / fittings.

Question about the fittings.

Can somebody tell me what the difference is between the two items in the image (exept from diameter and design of course). To me it seems, they serve the same purpose.

Sorry for noob question.

The one on the left is new, it's suppose to secure the tube alot better. see pics.

The one on the right is old tech, with regular o-ring, u can pull the tube out without unscrewing the cap of the fitting.

I have used both, the new tech is easier to get the tube in without force.
