Did i really have to put 4k 60hz when were clearly talking about it? Like i said a dvi CANT do it. And a duel link can do 33hz at 4k to tell the truth.

gr4474 I think you're gonna need a monitor with a DP input.

RobzDragon When you use your laptop what for cables/adapter are you using? And is the dvi to hdmi your are using a dual link dvi adapter? I believe the one that came with my 295x2 was a standars dvi adapter and will not carry 4k much less 2k.

Only chance you might have is to use 2 hdmi cables with two dp adapters to the 295x2 then set up eyefinity with 2 tiles into one screen. But your tv has to support his.

Thanks.

I guess I'm gonna have to wait for a driver update to fix this. It was not worth it spending all this money on nothing...

The card has 1 DVI and 4 Mini Display Port so my only option is to have an adapter that converts to HDMI... and that's what I did... I tested the 2 Adapters that come with the card (DVI to HDMI and Mini DP to HDMI) and they didn't give me 4k (the Mini Display Port adapter gave me 4k when I used it with my laptop)

I haven't tried EyeFinity I'm not sure how to do so... and I don't know about MST (I guess the answer is no for this one)

And the fault with adapter cables is not the cables themselves. The 295 x2 detects what input the signal is being sent to, and alters its output to match. It has no HDMI 2.0 support in its firmware, so it detects the HDMI 2.0 and the best it can do is send HDMI 1.4a. Hopefully this will be fixed with a drivers update.

No HDMI 2.0 to DP will work.

So with any Tv or Monitor with out a DP or a graphics card thats not hdmi 2.0, you are screwed.

Cybertox You have to connect via the DVI display adapter.

Greg

Those adapters wont work with an AMD card.
