KedarWolf I have Corsair LPX 128GB 3000 at 2666 at really great timings of 12-12-13-26 1T on 100 strap with really great secondary and third timings. I load the 1866 secondary timings on Auto, then set them manual and use them for 2666. thumb.gif

Can't do 3000 or 3200 on 100 strap though and I get 4.8GHZ CPU, 4.5GHZ cache on my 5960x on 100 strap. Ihave agolden chip. biggrin.gif

On 125 strap CPU does not clock near as good and I can only get memory on XMP at 3000 and I'm pretty sure it's not really stable even using XMP. redface.gif

Still, I'm sure I'd get much better cache and memory benchmarks with these timings at 2666 and a higher stable CPU overclock then at 3000 and 125 strap. bruce.gif

For 128GB I'm pretty pleased. smile.gif

Spartan850312 Hi all, anyone have the stuck bios issue on the K90 keyboard?>
12-22-2015 03:50 AM
Clukos Nevermind i found it.

I got 2x 5.20 and 2x 8.16

So that's Hynix(512Mx8) and Nanya(256Mx8)?

In AIDA64 i get 30k mb/s read, 32.5k mb/s write, 29k mb/s copy and 59ns latency with that setup.

Clukos Where can i check if it is Elpida or Hynix? IMC/VCCSA voltage is the default, i didn't change it. I just ran a memtest and got 0 errors.

And from 1600mhz 9-9-9-24 2T @1.5v i am running it at 2133mhz 11-11-11-28 2T @1.65v. It seems to be really stable so far but i am going to run memtest to check for errors just to be safe.

Should i be worried about anything else? It's my first time trying out mem overclock and that's why i am asking about it biggrin.gif
1.65V is safe. Your IMC/VCCSA voltage? What ICs the memory have? Is it Hynix or Elpida? 2133 quite good IMO.

Just to give you an idea on how much room you have up there, 400R

I noticed the 110i GT/GTX are not listed on the compatibility for the 400R, will they possibly be too large? I'm keeping my eye open for boxing day deals on both to finally have all my RAM installed at once.

RikkAndrsn Upgraded to a 32 GB kit, couldn't resist a Black Friday deal that had it way discounted. Any suggestions on a new CPU cooler that will not interfere with the RAM heat spreaders, @Corsair Joseph? I'm considering a H100i but I have concerns it will overhang the RAM from the top of the case (400R) and cause the same problem.
