DiGiCiDAL It would be cool to see what my system puts out in Windows 10 but I've stripped almost everything out of it pre-install - so I don't even have a performance sub nor winsat tool in mine. I also don't have any telemetry, Cortana, Windows store, iDrive, etc. however - so I'm much happier that way. Maybe I'll see if I can just replace the WinSat stuff for 'academic purposes'

johnvosh I am still running the original install of Windows 7 from 5 years ago and still going strong. I will stay on Windows 7 until they force me to upgrade.

(the screen shot lies as my CPU is at 4.2GHz)

HITTI In fact I dumped windows 7 x64 yesterday. My newly fresh win10 Original Install Date: 8/10/2018, 11:12:27 AM.

I like win10 a lot, I hypocrised win10. But I gave it a shot, all my games and apps run. This win10 even installed a driver for my old ass WMP54G wireless card, win7 I had to skim net for driver for it, wasn't easy. Win10 also installed driver for my hp pcs 2110 printer lol.

I love the access to what ever from right clicking the start menu button.

The UI is astonishing and easy on the eyes.

jeewiz, I am into howtogeek.com tutorials for win10 and customizing it. Soon I will dig into disabling telemetry. Already disabled nvidia's telemetry.

Installed comodo free firewall, installed and works great.

I like win10 a lot. It was time for a change for me.

DiGiCiDAL Still running strong - although I did put Windows 10 on a second drive I can boot too (as well as Linux on another one). Windows 7 on NVMe is just pure buttah.

Huzzaa The system in my sig runs Ubuntu MATE and Windows 7, using GRUB2 for the primary bootloader. Windows 7 is pre-loaded via VeraCrypts bootloader(not utilizing BitLocker).

All disks and systems are fully encrypted and protected with long passwords.

5291Crash I prefer WIn 7, with dablings in linux. Have Zorin 12.2 lite downloading now to test on an old laptop.

Have a HP laptop (11-n040ca) sitting beside me with 8.1 on it, that i'd love to put 7 on but HP lists no drivers, only 8 upward.
