PontiacGTX I wonder if this bat file I made could stop windows updates with the latest services added (need to be executed as admin otherwise the changes wont be able to be applied)
I wonder if I missed some service which keep re-enabling the update schedule task?

subassy This is a guide that exists to optimize win 10 as much as possible for running games on an atom-based device (the "GPDWin"). If you page down past all the download links (to the section "ALL OF THE CHANGES THAT I'VE MADE") there are some good tips and links to utilities for turning things off/optimizing for performance in general.

ok so any tweaks that will at least disable it? i followed one tutorial and it was happily letting me know it was still working in lower right corner

There is a few sections for disabling it. EDIT: I just realized there isn't in the new guide, you will have to find the name of Windows defender in powershell yourself and then use install_wim_tweak to remove it. Nope, ignore that part.
