Well I was heading out to field service for my company when my wife jokingly said "take your computer its small". . . So i did.
I took it carry-on and TSA didnt even look at it twice. There were people behind me who thought it was absurd and needed to voice their opinion and that was really the only thing. I have a laptop I usually take but how can I pass up a good challenge!

20c in gpu and 10c in cpu... maaan that's significant.

I haven't run any benchmarks or anything yet but I do notice an improvement in idle temps. Before my GPU was around 55° and would creep up to 60° where the fans would then kick on and drop back down to 55°, that cycle would continue every 3 to 5 minutes or so. Now it will idle for over an hour and the GPU is at a happy 40°. My GPU fans don't spin below 60°
The CPU idle temp is a good 10° cooler as well. I will work on adapting the F12 to the CPU this weekend and start doing some tests.
The HDD has about 3/8" (9mm) air gap from the PSU fan and there is more ventilation on both sides of the PSU so there is plenty of area to draw air from. I can feel a nice draft still coming from the bottom of the PSU so it seems to be flowing good still.
The new cover is approximately .625" (16mm) thicker overall than the old cover.
On my printer at home it took 14 hours with conservative speeds, there is a lot of areas I could have thinned out to make it print faster with less material, but I wanted a sturdy part as well.
It's just as sturdy if not sturdier than the old one that came off, it has significantly more material everywhere. The current weak point is where the screws attach the cover to the case, the layer orientation is not optimal for the stress direction. I think the next one I print I will make those parts separate so I can print them with a more optimal layer direction.

Would the hdd restrict the air from psu?
how thick is it compare to the old cover?
how long did take to print?
is it sturdy and hold good to the case?

Got the front cover printed. It looks pretty good, but it has some issues so I opted to not finish it with paint and a good sanding. I will make some adjustments here and there and make another. Plus it looks much better in person, the camera brings out all the little details you wouldn't otherwise see. The power button didn't fit like I had hoped, but its out now so I can model the switch itself and make the next one work.
The hard drive area has little tabs that lock the drive into place without the need for screw. I did have to do some trimming on the front of the metal case because it was protruding into the HDD circuit board.
A little hot glue here and there was used to secure the existing LED to the side of the vent, It was also used here and there to help with cable management. The rats nest on top was re-organized in an attempt to clean it up a little bit.
Overall it looks prett neat and I'm quite happy with the results so far. Now I can start designing the fan mount and supporting pieces.

I got everything fitting and working. I wanted avoid standing it up because that would be a nightmare of support material.
I also have one printing at my work and we will see which one turns out better.

The printer from day one has been trouble free, I'm on a forum dedicated to these and I see a lot of people have issues that are assembly related, It comes as a pile of parts. Failing to secure the wires is a really big one, as a result the heater cartridge pulls out of the hotend and has started some fires.
Here is a figure I printed with it. The base is the size of a quarter for reference.
I could block off all vents except for those that have fans on them but I'm going to see if it makes an improvement in passive cooling first with all vents open.
I'm currently lying to my printer to make it work. The part is wider than my heatbed by 1/8" so I put an aggressive chamber that allows it to fit, but now I'm running into physical limitation issues! GAH, SO CLOSE!!!

does the 3d printer gives you any hardships ?
you can just install 1 or 2 fans and close the rest of the openings.
