It looks like they have Microstar Intl., as their biggest ppd producer? Lol! Wishing we could get a GPU manufacturer/distributor to join the team!

tictoc POTM Final Update

World Community Grid
Start: 67 - Goal: 67 - End: 68 | We had a nice month on WCG, with our daily average roughly double what we are normally at.
Distributed Hardware Evolution Project
Start: 21 - Goal: 19 - End: 18 | Goal achieved.
Collatz Conjecture
Start: 7 - Goal: 7 - End: 7 | [email protected] is putting up massive points, but on a happier note, we are getting closer to crossing the 50 billion point milestone.

tictoc POTM Update

World Community Grid
Start: 67 - Goal: 67 - Currently: 68 | Byteball passed us earlier this month, but with our average ppd tripling over the last few days, we are making up ground on Georgetown.
Distributed Hardware Evolution Project
Start: 21 - Goal: 19 - Currently: 16 | The credit anomaly has been corrected, and now we have a few teams creeping up on us. I'm going to throw some more cores at it once the WCG B-day challenge is over.

mmonnin The admin went with something close to my suggestion and replaced the credit during those 3 crazy high days with an average from the 3 previous days.

OCN went up 5 positions.

mmonnin I don't think MIP1 is a VINA based app where those typically run much faster in Linux than Windows. But pretty much everything is faster in Linux by a small bit.

AlphaC Is WCG's MIP faster on Linux (mine is on Fedora 29 with Ryzen 7) or Windows?

tictoc No issues with the 410.66 drivers on GPUGrid, PrimeGrid, or Einstein, but those are the only projects projects that I have run on those drivers.

I haven't been able to run Collatz since it came back online. I've reset, detached, and re-added the project multiple times. No errors, it just never gets any tasks:
Code:
Sun 04 Nov 2018 06:57:25 PM MST | collatz | Sending scheduler request: Requested by user.
Sun 04 Nov 2018 06:57:25 PM MST | collatz | Requesting new tasks for NVIDIA GPU
Sun 04 Nov 2018 06:57:25 PM MST | collatz | [sched_op] CPU work request: 0.00 seconds; 0.00 devices
Sun 04 Nov 2018 06:57:25 PM MST | collatz | [sched_op] NVIDIA GPU work request: 74063.50 seconds; 1.00 devices
Sun 04 Nov 2018 06:57:25 PM MST | collatz | [sched_op] AMD/ATI GPU work request: 0.00 seconds; 0.00 devices
Sun 04 Nov 2018 06:57:26 PM MST | collatz | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks
Sun 04 Nov 2018 06:57:26 PM MST | collatz | [sched_op] Server version 711
Sun 04 Nov 2018 06:57:26 PM MST | collatz | Project requested delay of 121 seconds
Sun 04 Nov 2018 06:57:26 PM MST | collatz | [sched_op] Deferring communication for 00:02:01
Sun 04 Nov 2018 06:57:26 PM MST | collatz | [sched_op] Reason: requested by project

*EDIT* Evidently I just needed to make this post to get work. After making zero changes on my end I just got work on two machines.

No issues here with mine in Ubuntu 18.04 on 2 machines. I have seen several posts about 410 not crunching well or at all in Linux on several projects.

skivelitis No problems getting tasks for my GTX 950. (Linux Mint 18.3)

Edit: Just remembered, there was some Gridcoin cheating a few months back and you may have to detach/re-attach to implement the enhanced security measures set up by the project.
