Going through those pictures and finding it easier to count the cards I didn't have than the ones I did makes me realize that I've had almost one-hundred video cards in the last 25 years.
Yeah, getting into 3D graphics from the mid 90s to mid 00s was something no one will ever experience again - except when holodecks become a thing. It was quite a time in the computer industry.
I keep an active AGP rig to this day (opteron 180 @ 2.7ghz, 2gb ddr400 on a gigabyte s939 board). Most powerful card I've got for it is a Gecube x1950pro 256mb, though. Followed by a x800pro, then 6600gt, and down the line from there.
First gpu I really used for gaming was a Ati Rage 128, Voodoo 3 and then a bit later my GF4 ti4200 128mb.
Wish I had saved one of my Socket A boards that was old enough to have an ISA slot.

My GPU upgrade tree would be something like this..
Intel Celeron 2.4ghz iGPU (2002)
Nvidia 6200 LE
GTX 260 (died)

|TheHorse||I remember a computer we used to have had a Radeon 9500... I tried using some rivatuner **** to overclock the core and memory. 1MHz would kill the thing. How far we've come.|

I wonder whats been hijacked over the years.
IT equipment thrown into an unsecured office always dwindles.
this reminds me - my next project is actually an elite win-XP gaming PC full of top of the line XP era hardware. So essentially a Dx9 beast. dos box gaming is just weird.

Hope I am remembering correctly...
First computer I gamed on growing up I am quite certain had a Radeon 9800 Pro.
Others I can think of having in various computers over time....
- GeForce 4
- GeForce FX (was a midrange one if I recall, sucked)
- Radeon X1650 Pro (card was rock solid for what I was using it for at the time. Last AGP card we had I think...)
- 9800 GT
- Radeon HD 5770's
- GTX 670
- GTX 980
