AlphaC GTX 1650 is worse than RX 570 undervolted.

Couple that with the low amount of cards without a PCIE connector , 128-bit memory bus with GDDR5, and shoddy pricing and you have a basic failure

In other news it looks like EVGA wisened up and produced the SC Gaming series for the GTX 1660 and GTX 1660 Ti with dual fan coolers (albeit smaller fans) in a dual slot configuration rather than triple slot single fan coolers. They also have backplates. Instead of 10.55 inches of the XC Ultra the new cards are 7.96 inches which is marginally longer than the 7.48inches of the older triple slot single fan base models. Unlike the ASUS Dual and MSI Ventus, the cooler spans nearly the whole length, it's not a copper slug with a Intel CPU cooler thing on it.

$280 GTX 1660 Ti SC Ultra https://www.evga.com/products/produc...06G-P4-1667-KR Length: 7.96in - 202.1mm
(amazon listing available since May 3: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RJGK1PW)
$220 GTX 1660 SC Ultra Black https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=06G-P4-1065-KR
$230 GTX 1660 SC Ultra https://www.evga.com/products/produc...06G-P4-1067-KR
(amazon listing available since May 3: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RJGL33C/)

Judging by the back of the card it looks to be the same power delivery as the GTX 1660 (Ti) XC Ultra / base model without the overhang of the cooler.

Today we were hoping to bring you a detailed GeForce GTX 1650 review but with Nvidia withholding the driver until the public release that wasn’t possible.
Hardware unboxed said on twitter. So we have the same problem as before, NVidia is trying to block card use by releasing compatible drivers with delay.

Well, RX 470 is faster card. (In fact, if Reviewers needed to hack drivers to make them work, NVidia is lucky they didn't gave card big fat 0/10, no compatible drivers situation caused the card to fail all tests.)

I kinda wonder why reviewers are not more aggressive. Complaining about driver situation pre-release, and reducing score for driver not available before card release, or not distributed with the card. NVidia behavior actually might violate protection of end user rights in some countries.

Now please do tell me how something like this could ever be launched at that price point if it wasn't for the Nvidia mindshare of the PC market.

The card performs way under the RX 570, but nvidia is charging RX 580 prices. Lmao. On the other hand, its a barely minimum entry level gaming card with no power supply/very low tdp. I'll give Green some credit there.

perfectly scaled ❤, now if only they're priced really well... meh.

still not a worthwhile upgrade from my 1070

128bit gddr6 would be around the same as 192bit gddr5. So even if the ram is faster on the 1650ti the 1660 would still be faster.

My guess is that the 1650ti has ddr6.. As it seems to be a cut down version of the 1660ti. Just as the 1650 is a cut down 1660. It might be cut enough to get a 75w version.

AlphaC GTX 1650 TI is also coming https://www.tomshardware.com/news/nv...-ti,39122.html

akromatic I can't be the only excited about the 1650..... its going to be 1050ti replacement for possible passive/single slot/low profile card with no auxiliary power need.

Ultra compact diy itx system would be more attainable and itwoyld have a decent gaming / vr performance
