Performance-wise, with stock Bios (and with extensive rad space), I have spent pretty much all year in the top 25 or so (pic below) in 3DM HOF Port Royal. The lower graph in the first pic shows you the temps for the Port Royal run and it underscores the factory water-blocks performing exceptionally well. As to the looks of the card, it's a matter of taste. I think they look great if a bit RGB-heavy. But if you don't like the look, the cover comes off pretty easily (also per first pic below).

Anyway, back to real life..

Like I initially said, looks are subjective. Nothing wrong w/the card, just paying $1300 used for one right now isn't worth it, especially since you can buy other brands for much cheaper on hardwareswap and other places. The funny thing is he comes in here saying how crappy the 2080 Ti is because he's dreaming of how great the 3080 might be but what he doesn't realize is most here who have a 2080 Ti will just sell and grab the 3080 Ti or whatever when the time comes. Anytime I see someone say "NGreedia" over and over, I already know they're salty.

That's kind of sad... lol.

If he does not own one then you're right, he's trolling hard and should get the heck out of this thread.

Please go to the 1080TI thread where you belong instead of trashing this thread for no reason. Obviously buying a 2080TI for $1000 right now would be silly, but then again you don't really see too many people doing that right now unless they game at 4K, which I understand at that point as a 2080TI is really the only card capable of a playable experience at that resolution.

Was the card overpriced? Yup. Welcome to a market that has ZERO competition. Any company with a brain would have done what NV did in their shoes.

It's not even that bad for anyone who resold their 1080 Ti... I got $650 for mine, so it's just $1.29 / day... and it will also bring down the purchase price of any future upgrades because it will have the highest possible resale value of anything this generation.

I've provided logical reasons for why I don't think you'll see Big Ampere this year and you've provided...youtube videos.
I stated that I had the waterblock variant, I don't know, 8 times? Learn to read slowly and correctly before spouting off rubbish. (The entire point of the vid below my last post was to show the card in question, I mean you can see right from the vid snapshot that it's not the AIO variant, youre either blind, illiterate and or dumb or all three, but this is the "2080 Ti" forum after all, just like the Titan forum from yesteryear, a forum comprised of nearly illiterate stupid people with too much money driving up the prices for the 99% of us who either can't afford a $1200 GPU purchase every other year or think that's a waste of money.

We can share benchmarks in two-three months when I put my block on my 3080. Can't wait to see a 220W card annihilate your 380W XOC Bios card. I really can't wait to see the RT difference.

It's probably not. Since no specifications have been released by nvidia everything right now is pure speculation. That user could of created that in a few minutes in photoshop. No one knows anything for sure about the new cards at this point in time.
