Is there an official source to this?

I picked up an used Sapphire Vega 56 Nitro+ the other day. It's even the rare Limited Edition with the 14 phase design and 3x 8pin connectors.
However, in terms of stable clock vs voltage, this card seems to perform below the average 56 out there. At stock Nitro clocks (which is 1590 MHz) I'm having trouble keeping the card stable even with 1075mv..
I've seen lots of other cards in the range of 950-1025mv for those clocks. Doesn't sound like a binned chip to me.

AFAIK there isn't a Sapphire Vega 64 Pulse, only reference and LC.

Given LC has the same power limit of 264W I'd attribute it to silicon lottery: https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/...64-8176-170719 , https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/...64-8176-171205

Wrong, i own one they come with a 12 phase vrm no lights 2 x 8 Pin heatpipe not vapor chamber, Sapphire Quote 1580 average clock instead of 1611 on the LE
bios 1 220w, bios 2 240w

They only did a limited run of the LE cards retail cards are the non LE version now and have been for a fair time
there are zero review's / teardown's of them though so it seems the limited run of LE cards did the trick bait and switch

the 14 phase LE bios isnt compat
reference bios's are

Ne01 OnnA IMO Vega XTX is best choice

Just stick with Default Fan speed in WattMan (Max is 69%, usually i have ~45-50% and is non audiable much)
Temps & noise is -more than- acceptable (50-60deg. cels. is max i saw, HotSpot Max was ~70deg. with hefty OC)

Besides 1120HBM2 at 937mV
and 1672MHz at 1.087v is NP for this GPU at all.

Gaming in BFV, SotTR, FC5 etc. Temps never surpass 50-60 GPU/HBM and 65deg. HotSpot

==
Here 1.5h of FC5 (my Gameplay meansured in HWinfo64)
I was testing new HBM2 OC with Lowest possible V -> i can get 1120MHz at 931/937mV (it's good for lowering temps at long play sessions)
At 1150Mhz 975mV You've have Hot spot @65-70deg.

The EX1 Unless the Nitro card is the "LE" model (3 x 8pins, RGB fan shroud and not just backplate) and not the standard "SR", it is not binned.

The Nitro will be quieter, but the LC card will have a factory binned chip and should maintain clocks that are quite a bit higher than the Nitro card. I have owned the Nitro, Red Devil, Strix, Reference air, and the LC card. I compared all the air cooled cards here in this video. My LC card runs about 60-75mhz faster than the Nitro here. The Strix was one of the cards affected by the VRM cooling issue and its performance reflects that in this vid. That card was throttling due to VRM temps.

I also heard they subtract the "value" of the games if you ever need to RMA the hardware.

There is a way from what i’ve heard. $50-60 tota for three games. They will subtract the value of the games if you RMA with the graphics card used. So if I return it new, you get the full price back.

Im leaning towards the LC due to looking awesome and possibly quieter. Also, will be much less of a hassle just rmaing the nitro back to newegg.

Id still like to hear what you guys think.

shilka You spelled the name of the thread Cega 64 so assume that was a typo

miklkit Just a FYI. With the 19xxxx drivers my Nitro fans stop at 1500rpm and temps are high. This is why I'm staying with the 18.12.1.1 drivers so the fans can get to 3500rpm and much cooler temps. Some might not like the noise tho.

BTViolence I'd personally use the Nitro or get a reference card that you can slap a fat AIO onto. You'll get much better temps and noise levels with that solution than you would with the LC.
