I'd not heard of AS SSD (till now)_I've downloaded it_but I've read it's not good for non-german speakers, anyway I think it may be an English version - thanks for the tip!!!
I think the 2nd test was about right!
And yes I get your point -
-I've got the SATA HDD not (M.2 SATA)_but the speeds are the same-ish - So, all in all now I know if it's used to game or use for a sample collection for DAW it will perform as it's expected to !

Hi mate, I have AS SSD installed and not CrystalDisk (not that there's much difference between them I don't think), my usual approach is just type the drive name + size + benchmark name into google and click the images, you should find a whole load similar to yours. If you don't that's when to start worrying
Bear in mind that you can have lower results with your OS installed on it, a lot of people bench them clean and empty. And a different motherboard will have a different controller, you just need to be in same ball park to be satisfied.
In CrystalDisk the lower tests are progressively more focused on server or database workloads, many "random" small files with long queue depth, not especially relevant to typical desktop PC use but still nice to know it's working properly.

TEST RE-DONE SATA 6G
OK this is more like it. Not quite twice the speed but not too far off. I'll need to read the Crystal mark instruction manual but any help here is great as I don't know what all the numbers mean apart from the top number as it may be "sequential read and write" - So, now the SSD is in the SATA6 G port the performance is better -

I think I've found something - There are SATA3 G (sata2) and SATA6 G ports on the Z77 chipset - I've got the drives connected to the SATA3 G which would explain the lower scores on the test.
I'll try the SATA6 G and post the results - If I'm correct the score should be double or there abouts --Till later !

SSD Test Crystal disk
Just managed to do a clone from mechanical HDD > SSD Samsung Evo 850 250 GB and I've performed one test but I don't really know much about this so some good input is requested please. I've saved the text file from Crystal disk and printed the screen. One of the numbers was 284 MB/s (mega-bytes per second)_when I looked to check the Gb/s it was no where near to the 6 Gb/s of SATA3 connector
The board used currently is the Asus Z77-V-LE with i7 3770K -
OK, so I've got the conversion correctly input, it still seems there could be some performance increase? - I'm not sure if Rapid Storage is installed as such - Any tips etc... appreciated, so I've built some machines but now it's learning something else-thanks= OS=WINDOWS 10 X64 32 GB RAM
