I used to be on OCN daily too, but the reality is that this hobby has gotten too expensive. I haven't built a new system for myself since end 2014/early 2015, and it's still going strong for my uses that I don't see doing anything for many years to come. It's not like the old days when you had to upgrade to get significant performance improvements over previous gen. In my opinion, unless you want to live on the bleeding edge, parts have been "fast enough" for a while now.

On top of that, the forum migration really sucked and it took forever to fix features, get things working again, etc. Hell still in progress on that. What a mess.

Well OCN doesnt have to die. Ill stay until I am the only one left. Or until someone starts up a new forum on modern platform that is nice and has the same crowd here as OCN with OC guids and all the rest.

They are still reviewing PSUs and I can say that the forums are active too. I always go there specifically for PSU news.

Here, I stress that I found that WARNING in Kyle's User Forum.

So, out of concern for Kyle's security and the security of his website,
I re-posted that WARNING at the same User Forum.

Kyle responded viciously by falsely accusing me of attempting
to "F**K UP" his plans to raise funds via Patreon.

That was never my intention, and that thought never
crossed my mind.

He further retaliated by deleting every single Post which
I had authored at his User Forum, and believe me they
numbered in the several hundreds spanning years.

That incident reminded me a lot of a similar incident
that happened at Tom's Hardware:

Many months ago, I merely posted this honest question:
"Is VISTA an acronym for Virtual Instant Surveillance
Tactical Application?"

The moderators at Tom's Hardware immediately
BANNED ME FOR LIFE.

So, I went back in with a pen name, and
ended up being awarded with "BEST SOLUTION"
thirty-three (33) different times.

Bottom Line: some of these self-styled "experts"
need to go back to school and re-study ethics
until they can get a passing grade.

Sincerely yours,
/s/ Paul A. Mitchell, Inventor and
Systems Development Consultant
Yeah I have seen him do that a few times. It was definitely "his" site and if you spoke up, if he felt like it you were done.
