bigjdubb Let us know how it goes.

Baasha This is amazing - will be testing it immediately.

bigjdubb I'll play around with it this weekend. I bet the performance increase I got from switching to Vegas from Premiere will be bigger than these driver optimizations, but it's good to see them at least trying to improve Adobe products.

Maybe I am missing a key piece of information but I think a "Gaming/Creator" switch in GeForce experience would be a much better solution than having to constantly install and uninstall drivers to have it optimized for what I'm doing at the time.
Driver bloat would be my first guess since the standard drivers are already over 500MB.

When testing the FE the performance difference was massive between the two branches. While nVidias release notes show they still have game ready optimizations in their creator driver. The only downside is that they aren't going to be updated with every single game ready driver.

ah! i did slightly miss that part.

The first Creator Ready Driver is now available from NVIDIA.com or GeForce Experience. From GeForce Experience, you can switch between Game Ready and Creator Ready Drivers at any time by clicking the menu (three vertical dots in the top right corner).
tbh, i was going to debate GFE was needed at all, but looking back, yeah a thumbs down for switching back/forth in GFE.

i had first thought the three dots would appear in NVCP.
Tested it and it requires an uninstall and install every time when I switch. Nothing like AMD's FE drivers that just need an install once per driver and easily switched between by a reboot. Colors look very similar to my Radeon VII with the creator drivers though.
