ku4jb @ku4jb : Love the Pit/Boxer/Mastiff mix in the old avatar. Had a 180lb BullMastiff "lapdog" named Zeus that to this day I still mourn. He was a [email protected] but to this day I miss and love him.[/QUOTE]

Deuce was a 120lb. Rottweiler/St Bernard "meathead". He too was a lover not a fighter. At 3 yrs old cancer consumed him in a matter of a few weeks..

Deucer-Doo we called him, Scooby-Doo's cousin.

no, it's true, it's true

Moo is not high memory bandwidth dependent so you can turn your memory clock down as low as 500. That will keep her nice and cool and possibly allow for a higher core clock, trimming slightly more run time. I have mine turned down to 800.

If moo is getting more cpu time than it should, try changing the 4 to 9 under:

"[processor-usage]
priority=4"

in the "dnetc-1.00.ini", found in the moo folder.

Gpugrid doesn't work well with my GTX460. Somehow it's very slow getting only 30k ppd with longruns.10 times more points from DistrRTgen.
Personally, I like the math problems. More-so than the medical projects. Math/science (excluding medical) for me. Makes me sound little cold though.

Tex1954 I started with WGC too... try to always run that as well.

But, "boring" is a weird excuse... wonder if someone could get the code to the servers and such to duplicate the setup and continue the project...

Math projects are boring most of the time, but that doesn't mean we don't like it! The same reason the project was started is still there... it's only the attitude(s) of certain folks that have changed.

Milkyway and World community grid are close to my heart biggrin.gif Was hoping we could get something done for our kids. Perhaps better medicine and make milkyway better know. Dnetc was just for points so team would get better standings and more attractive smile.gif
