Yea never go by software readings... Check out one of my systems that is under load on the cpu and 2 gpus 24/7 readings. power and cooling 750watt no issues at all. Checked with my volt tester on the 12v and 5v rail and the 12v is at a solid 12.05v 5 volt is at a 5 also.
Some boards are just buggy and dont show right like the sabbertooft r2 am3..

|shilka||Software readings are extremely inaccurate so if you want any kind of accurate reading use a digtal multi meter|

Seasonic PSUs do not buzz lol. if any PSU has "buzzing/whining" noises then it's faulty.
a pump is not going to draw enough power to make any difference as to what PSU you should/shouldn't buy.
Read through some reviews and pick what fits in your budget. Seasonic Focus/Focus Plus are highly rated but if you're going to ignore that brand entirely because of some loopy logic then there's still a ton of other good options.

Yeah, and corsair units are the only one for me that meet all the requirements, especially buzzing/whining one - stuff I hate in seasonics.
It’s just 5V and especially 3.3V rail that disturb me much. For example, my EK pump feeds from 5V...

My Cosair HX 620 has been running 24/7 for 11 years no problems. Corsair is a good PSU brand and usually safe when it fails.
Corsair RM750i has a 10 year warranty.

PSU age and voltage rail question
Didn't found general PSU thread "about everything"
Couple of days ago I've noticed voltage supply deviation reported in HWinfo - I thought so cause it was....more "stricted" before. Planning to doublecheck that with hardware - friend of mine has one.
But at this moment I'm just curious. So, here's the stuff:
Corsair RM750i, 3.5 years old
Under load (max 450W), these figures I see:
12V rail: min 11.984V, max 12.047V (average current ~30A)
5V rail: min 5.078V, max 5.109V (average current ~5A)
3.3V rail: min 3.375V, max 3.406V (average current ~2A)
I know it's still far away from ATX tolerance standarts, though I surely can say it was better not long before. So, is it like "PSU is getting old and gonna die in year or two", smth like that? Just want to avoid situation when PSU kills itself and takes half of the rig with it - it's easier to start looking for a replacement from now.
