KingUniverse *UPDATE*

I ended up getting a 9900K, the overclocking headroom just wasn't there with the 3900x (and most likely the 3950x)

I'm happy with my final O/C of 5.2GHz All Core, and it's pushing my dual 2080Ti's to their limits.

I found some cheap B-Die 2133 RAM and have it running at 3866 CL17.

Cache is at 4.8Ghz

2080Ti's are 2100/8200

The FX-8350 will be retired to a kitchen/homework/printing PC.

After reading this thread I got inspired messed with my old 8120 rig I don't think I messed with it since I lapped it got it over 5ghz but heat soaked my h80 had to bring it down to 4.8- 1704 multi 253 single woof! I should be getting thermal glue for my dual 16 core rig monday 2080ti waterblock next week I have a crazy idea to use a heat exchanger to heat my pool/cool this rig hahaha should be fun!
The 3950x is coming, and most likely my next CPU 8)

bobbygamer My pool heater/rig cooler actually works great need to put oc bios on it to really ramp it up but right now 32 cores @4.5ghz and 980ti @1480mhz folding for 6 hours sitting at 27°c maybe I should start another thread

Solohuman Still got my "old" 8350 with it's Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 setup.
Got it up & running yesterday, as I had the itch for some retro OC fun... lol... but curious as to what temp monitoring program the OP is using?
HWMonitor v1.40 I'm using atm.

Pretty sure we're only about 1.5 months out from release, should be okay

Hmmm, odd results to be honest.
It's all interesting to me. Best use for that program is to improve the performance of a system, not so much for comparing one against another.

Given unlimited time and financial resources, I'd keep myself entertained for quite a while...lol
