Nothing yet for the X470 Prime Pro.
I saw the new BIOS yesterday but it is using the same AEGSA so I don't know if I will bother with it less there are some improvements.

The Asus Prime-X470 PRO is on such a good deal right now I might go grab it and use it with this OC'd 2600X for the next few months until the 3xxx series and mobos settle. No real reason for more power at this point than the X470 and it will help keep my cool until I sell this 2600X and X470 before I feel the urge to buy a 3xxx/x570 board. Heck, I might even wait for 4xxx and X670. This 2600X is just so amazing.

Any idea what the new Asus BIOS does? Looks like it is just getting the board ready for the 3xxx series and has the revision of AGESA 0072(A) although the Prime X470 is already on AGESA 0072 so maybe it is a B350 chipset upgrade that needs to be done as I read that the new AGESA 1.0.0.1 is what is going to come out when the 3xxx series drops.

rdr09 That sucks. Me think someone returned it, they accepted it without checking, and resold it. Unbelievable. Keep us updated.

But that added 400MHz for a mere 30 CAD is sweet.

Exostenza The change from the 1600 to the 2600X was much bigger than I thought it would be. I thought it would be almost a nothing upgrade other than the better RAM compatibility, but my whole system is a lot snappier. The lower latency that the 2600X provides really makes a difference you can notice. I don't mean to say that I noticed my 1600 system lagging or anything as it felt great, but there is most definitely a tangible difference in everyday computer usage with the 1600X over the 1600. Just opening up windows and applications is a lot quicker while the extra 400mhz, lower system latency, and overall improved design has made the "sidegrade" feel much more like an upgrade to me. Now I thought I was going to pair it with the x470 to bring my RAM up to speed but check out what Amazon gave me...

Don't be too fast to be jelly... this is what I got! Ordered a STRIX X470 and got a 10 year old Asus P5G41M_LE for Intel Core 2 Duo processors! Alright Amazon!

They have no shame. It even has an inspected sticker on it. Now I have to go print out a label and head to the post office to send it back just to get my money returned. Total waste of my time and they aren't doing anything for me for the extreme mess up. Nothing.

The issue with the 1600 is its low clocks and inability to handle higher clock RAM. Mine can only do 3.9GHz and and same RAM gets higher latency compared to gen1+ (not gen2). Check the pic.

Note that the op achieved 4.3GHz. For low end gpu not much difference.
Yes thoes are benchmarks , I bet you wont notice the difference real world. When my 2700x was out for rma I was using a 2400G in the same rig, when afterburner was off and I stopped running cinebench I was ok with the 2400G .

AmaKatsu sorry, I didn't know the other country has much different as $80

In Thailand C7H = $213 and X470-F = $200
