The voltage and power locks really take a lot of out the fun on the 10/20 series...

I'd like to see them both regardless. If AMD takes the crown, I'd still want to see benchmarks with an Intel system so I can compare it to the AMD system. I don't want one or the other.

No, TPU is stating the truth. AMD also knows which is why they added the I/O die to address the latency problems. Until developers start to develope for Ryzen, Intel's Ring Bus will be quicker for most games.

Edit: I agree that there isn't a difference in higher resolutions but they are testing 1080p.

Zen 2/Ryzen 3000 is around the corner, and if it manages to deliver gaming performance on-par with Intel—even at lower resolutions—I might be open to switching to AMD for the graphics card test system. But for that to happen, performance and market penetration has to be there, or the graphics card review comments will be full of posts "..but on Intel...".

zealord sweet. The games they added are a pretty good choice besides Sekiro, which is a fantastic game, but I don't agree with for benchmarking graphics cards.

But I have to say that I expected the Vega VII to be a bit closer to the RTX 2080 in 4K and the RTX 2070 is performining surprisingly well. Bigger jump over the GTX 1080 than I thought it had.

looniam i changed my brand of toilet paper today.

i'll post some skid . . i mean benchmarks later.

rdr09 If what i read in the news just now is true, then the RX 3080 will be between the 2070 and VII. Is it worth 500$?

Prolly not in TPU.
