Please keep in mind HardOCP test data is based on room ambient temperature, not temperature of air going into coolers.
Even worse, they are measuring temperature with a "MicroTemp EXP non-contact infrared thermometer". Infrared thermometers do not / cannot measure air temp. They measure non-contact surface temperature of surface they are pointed at and reflect off of, not the temperature of air inbetween thermeter and surface.
Look it up if you are not sure you can believe me.

You should tighten the mounting screws untill the take up all the space in mount. Basically tighen until they quit turning .. just don't go crazy and strip/break them.
I did run P95 for 1.5 hours this afternoon to get a more direct comparison. Ended up peaking at 71c, then dropping down and hovering in the 69.5-70.5 range depending on if my AC was running. Again using that HardOCP review as a kind of loose reference, I'm hoping that's around the ballpark of what I should be getting. When I ran the test with the H100i, I was running a very aggressive fan curve with Noctua A12x25s replacing the stock fans. So where that review had H110i "High" beating out the NH-D15 by ~6C, I figure being ~8C better in my situation fits.

Actually, if that 67.1c result from earlier is repeatable and consistent (would need to run P95 for a direct comparison), that would be about what I should expect, shouldn't it? Around 4c higher than the H100i.
Looking at this review: https://www.hardocp.com/article/2015...iquid_cooler/3 the H100i was beating out the top air coolers by a little bit. And also here: https://www.overclock.net/forum/22111036-post22.html where the H100 was a little ahead of the TS140P.
I would just be trading off a few C for a much quieter system, especially after I take care of that top grill.

|Owterspace||Its about 35c in my apartment, probably more because I am nearly naked and I'm still hot but I dont have to dial back my overclock at all lol. I can game on it no problem, mobo temps at 43c in game, normally about 10c less and let me tell you it is gross in here. I'm pretty impressed. My kid dropped a pencil into my portable ac and the squirrel cage shredded itself. All the BTU's have been lost.|

Mount basically indexes cooler centered on CPU, so it's not easy to offset and get a good seat. I would not try mounting cooler off of center. It's not going to move, so as long as it's not touching GPU you are fine. I've has some coolers that mounted so close to GPU I put a thin piece of plastic between them just to be sure it there would be no contact and possible electrical short.
I had some time to run a couple more Handbrake tests today. For all of these, the room temp was ~24.5c and the sensor about 3-4cm in front of the cooler was ~25.5c.
After reseating the cooler and tightening it down a little more, the max temp was 67.1c. I then tried unplugging that top fan and running the same test. Temperature sensor didn't show any changes, but CPU temp maxed out at 69c this time.
Will try more in the future!

Do you have a way to monitor air temp into cooler during testing? If you run something like Handbrake at 100% it puts CPU at 100% load as soon as it starts encoding and peak temps will be in about 5 minutes. It may not be a problem, but your top intake may be disrupting the cooler fan's ability to draw air in. This is becuase top fan is forcing air at right angles to what cooler fan needs. Like I said, it may not be a problem.
Do temps go down if you open case front door?

Holy ****, the cooler is almost on the GPU. Impressive. You are probably grabbing heat from that. In which case, TY143 would definitely help.
On mine, I have a ton of space.
