|magnek||If you're that concerned then just stick a piece of electrical tape on the rear camera and always place the phone face down. Problem solved.|

|Annihilannic||I guess it was inevitable, but what concerns me most about these is that cameras hidden behind display devices will become mainstream. And it's not like you can just stick a piece of tape across them!|

I've never used the front cam to take a photo, but it sure makes video calling simple. That being said, I think this design idea is a pretty pointless complication that does not make the phone any better. It will also mean that your screen protector now plays a role in your front facing cameras picture quality since you will be shooting through it.
No bezels, no buttons, no jacks, no card slots, and now no notch, the list of "new features" that makes phones worse to use keeps growing.
No jacks and no slots is an Apple specialty, which is why I avoid their phones like the plague. I don't think "no buttons" is becoming a thing thankfully. But yeah I get your sentiment, at some point we'll see manufacturers passing off "no features to make your life easier" as an actual feature LOL.
