Rayleyne And here i am, Still prefering my xperia Z ultra, I hate the whole edge to edge screen thing, Can't hold it without touching my palm on it, Or the strange fisheye effect at the edges with the samsung curved edgeless displays, And notches are just fugly

magnek If you're that concerned then just stick a piece of electrical tape on the rear camera and always place the phone face down. Problem solved.

Annihilannic I guess it was inevitable, but what concerns me most about these is that cameras hidden behind display devices will become mainstream. And it's not like you can just stick a piece of tape across them!

EniGma1987 How can Oppo unveil the first one when other companies have already done articles explaining how theirs works?

Don't need a camera to do that though:

No bezels, no buttons, no jacks, no card slots, and now no notch, the list of "new features" that makes phones worse to use keeps growing.
Notch wouldn't have been a thing if the "no bezels" fad hadn't taken off. I mean I actually don't mind shrinking the bezels to increase screen estate, but not if you have to stick a fugly ass notch in there.

No jacks and no slots is an Apple specialty, which is why I avoid their phones like the plague. I don't think "no buttons" is becoming a thing thankfully. But yeah I get your sentiment, at some point we'll see manufacturers passing off "no features to make your life easier" as an actual feature LOL.

True, But my oneplus 7 pro's pop up is rated for something like 50x a day for 5 years. But i guess it could go bad sooner.
